Finding the stillness inherent in our being
In this 24 minute meditation, you are invited into fully experiencing this present moment, allowing the movement of our breath to guide us into stillness. Noticing what may arise to obscure the stillness, we use the 9 Breaths of Purification to help allow us to rest. Resting here, we can ride the wave of our own calming breath into the tranquility and peace that is inherent in our true nature.
Three Channels of Light
During this meditation, I make mention of the three channels of light in your body. In addition to our physical bodies, many wisdom traditions describe additional aspects, including a Subtle Body. The structure of this Subtle Body includes channels (pathways of energy) and chakras (energy centers). Every tradition describes them with some variation. For a good overview, please check out the Subtle Body and the Three Bodies Doctrine.
